What is Fit Y.O.U.T.H.?
Fit Y.O.U.T.H. (Youth Obtaining Ultimate and Total Health) is a collaborative program designed to improve health and wellness by combating and preventing childhood obesity.
Adopting a healthy lifestyle significantly decreases the risk for developing serious health problems, such as heart disease and diabetes. Fit Y.O.U.T.H. works with schools, families and communities to provide education and resources to encourage lifelong health and wellness.
Fit Y.O.U.T.H. currently works with 6,500+ Wise County students. The program features:
- Access to physical fitness opportunities
- Ongoing physical fitness and health education opportunities
- Nutrition education, tips and strategies
- Additional health-related resources
*School based opportunities are free to students in the grades served at participating schools.
